I have always had a passion for animals since I was a kid. And the need to help a sick animal and be their voice for them is something rewarding. Though, I have my degree in Dental Assisting. My Strive in life is to become a RVT. Being part of WesternU Pet Health Center, is something I’m grateful for.

Ever since I was eight and was shown a slide of streptococcus by my family Veterinarian, I knew that animal medicine would become my career. Even in High School I found myself taking extra courses in Biology, Marine Biology, and summer internships at local zoos. So it came as no surprise that when I began studying at Oregon State University, in Corvallis, OR, I jumped right into a B.S. degree in Zoology. During this time I worked as a receptionist in an ER Animal Hospital, and upon moving back to California I stepped into a C.V.T position at an exotic animal practice where I spent 2 years practicing animal medicine. Of course, on my down time I continued to pursue my love for the outdoors, with my German Shepherd Delilah, through hiking, rock climbing, cave exploring, snowboarding, and took courses on photography to capture the moments.

I am currently a receptionist at WesternU Pet Health Center. My passion for working with animals has lead me to pursue a lifelong career in the veterinary field. I am currently studying to become a veterinary technician at Mt. San Antonio college. I enjoy taking my dogs where ever I can, spending time outdoors and being surrounded by family.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I have always had a great love for them. I started working as a veterinary receptionist five years ago after being unhappy in the retail industry and I’ve never wanted to go anywhere else. When I’m not at work I spend most of my free time at Disneyland, the movies or with my family and my fur babies.
