  • When to seek emergency veterinary care

    These are some urgent veterinary crises that require immediate attention:

    • Severe accident
    • Broken bone
    • Hit by a car
    • Attack by another animal
    • Difficulty breathing
    • Vomiting that goes on for an extended time or vomiting blood
    • Severe diarrhea or bloody diarrhea
    • Obstetrical problems
    • Collapse
    • More than one seizure in a 24-hour period
    • Severe pain or
    • Severe cough - Difficulty breathing
